Tension in Bahrain

In Bahrain protestors are being seriously punished for speaking their beliefs. They are being sexually harassed and assaulted, shot and even hanged. The United States tends to stay out of rebellions like this if they enjoy the dictator. The US has had a bad past with Mohatmar Qaddafi, therefore we were in Libya and gladly fighting with the rebels, but in a place like Bahrain, we tend to like their dictator therefore we choose to stay out of the rebellion. The US is taking more caution to help with the rebellion because we don’t want to offend Saudi Arabia, one of our closest middle eastern allies, and we also don’t want Iran to profit from this effort. Saudi troops were sent in to help simmer the revolt. The Suuni based government is now destroying anything related to the shiite religion.

  1. I wish that the US would get involved in the rebellion in Bahrain, because I dislike seeing people abused by the police, considering that the police are made to protect the people in the first place. I also don't like that the US seems to care about oil more than the people in Bahrain. Stupid politicians...
